Internship – Graphic Design


Emerging Markets Political Risk Analysis (EMPRA) is looking for an intern to work alongside our team in Mexico City.

The intern will help EMPRA to define its public image and will update EMPRA’s graphic design manuals while facilitating its application. The intern’s responsibilities will include creative design and experimentation, data visualization and infographics, and developing daily content. The intern will also be tasked with contributing to EMPRA’s social media strategy. In addition to graphic design, the intern may be asked to participate in other operations, such as business development.

This opportunity is ideal for a driven and creative designer, with an interest in corporate communication, public policy or political communications.



The successful intern will:

  • Be enrolled in university courses or have recently graduated
  • Possess knowledge of how to communicate complex ideas, data, and related subjects through graphic design
  • Have an interest in public policy, politics, or related areas
  • Experience with developing infographics and converting data into clear, easily understandable graphics
  • Be proficient with Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
  • Be able to provide examples of recent projects
  • Be responsible and capable of managing one’s own time
  • Have strong English language skills (knowledge of Spanish is a plus)
